Hi, I’m Allie.
I have always been drawn to wild places and slower paces. Perhaps that’s why I love the body so much (and Montana!). Your body is a wild thing. It is instinctual, it carries messages from the past, it is the vessel from which you experience life. My practice merges the tools and techniques of coaching with hands on body work to help connect you to your truth and illuminate new pathways of healing.
I love working with somatic newbies because I spent most of my life disconnected from my body. I was of the suck it up and push harder mindset. I said yes when I really meant no. I smiled when I wanted to cry. Living this way exhausted and depleted me. Learning to connect to my body helped me immensely and I know it can help you too.
Whether you are coming to me as a veteran experiencing chronic pain (I am a VA provider for massage) or your interested in changing unhelpful behaviors my unique blend of inquiry, intuition and goal-setting can help you feel better long term.
I can help.
Licensed Massage Therapist
My style of massage arose from summers giving relaxation massages at guest ranches with winters of sports massage in ski towns. The result is a thorough massage you can feel with the flow and fluidity that allows your body to sink into a deep state of relaxation.
Transformational Coaching
I studied transformational coaching for 2 years. Coaching offers a future-forward approach to change by creating achievable outcomes, asking powerful questions, and offering nuanced reflection to help you discover your self-guided pathway forward.
Somatic Experiencing
I have completed Beginning II of Dr. Peter Levine’s Somatic Experiencing modality. Through this modal I can help you process and release trauma that is stored in the nervous system. You’ll learn to increase your awareness of internal sensations and resolve issues happening below the mind and at the body level.
